Music Theory for Aspiring Composers and Songwriters 
A crash course in theory for adults who want to write their own music.

Women's Choir
Open to adult female voices of all ages. Sing 2- and 3-part chamber choral music from many eras and styles. A great multi-generational way to meet people in a no-pressure and always fun small ensemble.
Mondays 7-8:30 pm       Fee: $227 (10 weeks)    
Sessions begin 9/22/08 and 2/2/09. Enrollment is ongoing! Come to the first class for free (RSVP required).

Private Lessons If you're interested in taking private lessons, call our office at (617) 492-8105 or email us. We will contact a potential teacher, who will then call you. The teacher may suggest a few trial lessons to start. If it is good match, you can then register for the remainder of the term. You must register for lessons prior to both trial and term lessons.  Private lessons are offered in the  following instruments: Banjo, Bass (acoustic and electric), Bouzouki, Cello, Clarinet, Cajon (Flamenco percussion), Composition, Conducting (Choral & Orchestral), Didgeridoo, Fiddle, Flute, Guitar (classical, jazz, electric and rock), Harp, Mandolin (bluegrass & folk), Middle Eastern Oud, Oboe, Piano (classical, jazz), Recorder, Saxophone, Indian Sitar and Tabla, Songwriting, Theory, Viola, Violin, Voice (classical, jazz, pop, R&B, country, klezmer), and World Hand Percussion.

Group Classes for Adults: Jazz Ensembles, teaching the fundamentals of jazz improvisation World Music, hands-on workshops in many instruments and styles String Ensembles,  trios, quartets and larger chamber ensembles for adults Recorder Ensemble, an adult chamber group for intermediate through advanced players

Per person, 12 week terms are suggested (shorter terms are prorated)  
Duo, 30 minutes / $240 ($20 each)
Duo, 45 minutes / $300 ($25 each)
Duo, 60 minutes / $384 ($32 each)
Trio or larger, 45 minutes / $216 ($18 each)
Trio or larger, 60 minutes / $264 ($22 each)

17 week terms are suggested (shorter terms are prorated)
