    Emily Browder

    B.A., Reed College. M.M. with Honors, Longy School of Music. Certificate in Voice Movement Therapy, VMT Institute. Current coursework in Music Therapy at Anna Maria College.  Recitals at the Music at the Cloud Series, UMass Dartmouth Chamber Series, and Paine Hall at Harvard University. Former member and soloist with the Cantata Singers. Soloist and ensemble appearance with Boston Vocal Artists and New England Voices. Performances with soprano duo Ensemble O at the Harare International Festival for the Arts in Zimbabwe and in the Boston Early Music Festival. Faculty: Tunefoolery, an ensemble of musicians with mental illness, and Mystic Valley Music Together, the Medford-based center of the nation-wide family music program. Member of NSM’s Vocal Ensemble in Residence, E.S.P.

Recordings: the Boy in Lukas Foss’s Griffelkin on Chandos Records, and Eve in Daniel Pinkham’s Garden Party on Arsis Records. Upcoming, soprano soloist on The Humble Heart, produced by New England Voices on Albany Records.
