Aaron Tyne, Sitar, Oud, Guitar Aaron  trained for many years on the sitar and surbuhar with Jeff Lewis, a senior disciple of the late Z.M. Dagar, the renowned rudra veena player and master of Dhrupad (a form of North Indian classical music). Additionally he plays the Middle Eastern oud, in  particular Turkish and Greek music and taksim improvisation. Aaron has accompanied artists such as Latif Bolat and David Akash Spring, and was an opening artist for the Rizwan Muazzam Quawwali ensemble at the High Hopes Balloon Festival and the Mariposa Art Museum. He was recently featured playing oud and sitar on the recording Tikkun by Rahel. Aaron also teaches and plays acoustic guitar for children. His approach is practical, fun, inspiring and patient.
