July 1 - August 7 Emily
Browder and Lauren CalistaClasses are based on the belief that music is as much a basic life skill as walking and talking, and that all children can learn to sing in tune, keep a beat, and participate with confidence and pleasure in the music of our culture. Children have many opportunities to create and play—inventing rhythmic patterns, new words to songs, movements to express a sound. Classes are for mixed ages from birth through and including four. A child’s music development benefits greatly from early exposure as an infant, and three and four year olds benefit by having the opportunity to be leaders in the mixed age classroom. Parents or caregivers are required to attend classes. $140 (Tuition includes an illustrated songbook, parent education materials, and a CD of music used in class.) Each class is 45 minutes and runs for 6 weeks, July 1 - August 7. Register today – sections fill quickly! Sec. 1: Tuesdays, 10am (Lauren) Sec. 2: Wednesdays, 3:30pm (Emily) Sec. 3: Thursdays, 10am (Lauren) Please check with the NSM office before attending any Music Together classes, as our classes have size limits. If you are in a Music Together section and would like to come to a make-up class, please call the NSM office beforehand at (617) 492-8105 to reserve your spot. Each child is allowed one make-up during Summer Term, and make-up classes are not rolled over from term to term. Announcing two new week-long programs this summer! |
